? Shipping
Online orders placed before 10AM CST Monday thru Friday are generally processed and shipped the same day. Online orders received after 10AM CST will usually be processed the next business day. Backordered, drop shipped, custom made and/or special ordered merchandise will take slightly longer to ship out.
Tunze USA ships to the continental 48 United States via UPS Ground or USPS and also offers 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day service via UPS Air. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are sent via UPS Ground, USPS may also be available—email us for a quote. In general we do not recommend USPS for high value items. Very large orders may ship by truck freight. If the cart should calculate an inaccurate shipping charge, we will contact you prior to processing your order. We charge our actual shipping costs.
? Out of Stock Items
From time to time, stock shortages may occur. If an item is out of stock, we will backorder the product unless instructed not to. Shipping is charged on a case-by-case basis. In some circumstances, splitting the shipping will not result in any additional costs (e.g., an additional box was already needed due to weight or dimensional weight for the backordered items). If that is not the case, we will generally charge 50% of shipping costs and in some cases ship backorders at no additional charge. Every effort is made to be fair and so that backorders do not result in increased costs.
? Returns and Warranty
We do not accept returns—all sales are final. The warranty is with the end consumer. The consumer should contact us for support and in most cases, after troubleshooting, any required parts will be sent to them under the terms of the warranty.
We handle all warranty for Tunze Aquarientechnik GmbH products in the USA as well as for Schego. Kessil products are handled directly by Kessil.
? Damaged Shipments
PLEASE inspect every shipment upon receipt. If your merchandise arrives damaged, immediately notify us. All damage claims must be made within 24 business hours of receiving the package. Any claim made over 24 business hours later may be out of our control, so please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
? Price and Description Changes
All pricing, pictures and descriptions on this site and our catalog are subject to change without notice. Tunze USA maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors.
